Another Wedding

There was another wedding that I attended on the 16th. This is a video I shot during the wedding. It shows a set of drummers and cymbalists playing at the entrance of the venue where the wedding was taking place. This is not a practice that is followed all over Tamil Nadu, at least, I've not seen such a performance anywhere else. The beauty of the thing is that these people were playing these instruments non-stop for hours together.

Here is a clip of the music that was played inside the venue of the wedding. The Indian flute is called the Nadeswaram and the drums are known as Thavils.
